Robinson s Cup Anemometer (With Flash Light Unit)- Engineering Lab Training Systems.
The unit consists three rotating cups mounted on ends of three arms supported as the top of a vertical shaft which rotates with very little friction. The assembly is mounted on a metal base with two binding posts. The prevailing wind turns the wind cups through internal shaft and the resulting torque is transmitted to a electrically signalling flash light unit housed in a light metal case, fitted with a dry cell battery and ON/OFF switch. The anemometer is supplied in case with flash light unit, five meter lead wire and instructions for its use.
