Energy Conversion in a wind power station Trainer Model.
1.19 Technical Description of the Trainer
The Energy Conversion in a wind power station trainer must include the following descriptions or functions:
• Able to conversion of kinetic wind energy into electrical energy
• Shall consist different measurements such: wind velocity in front of and behind the rotor, speed of the rotor, voltage and current. function and design of an stand-alone system with a wind turbine
• determining the power coefficient as a function of tip speed ratio
• energy balance in a wind power station
• determining the efficiency of a wind power station
• the trainer shall be able to conduct experiments under real wind conditions, so that a larger wind generator shall be able to be connected to the control panel.
