Technical Description A characteristic of reaction turbines is the conversion of pressure energy into kinetic energy at the guide vanes and rotor blades..
The spiral turbine housing is transparent on one side so the guide vanes and rotor can be observed. The guide vanes can be adjusted while the turbine is running. Loading is applied using a belt brake. The water pressure at the inlet is measured using a manometer. The pressurised water supply and flow rate measurement is provided .
